To kick our event off join us for Welcome Drinks (SOLD OUT) and canapes Speakeasy style. During the Prohibition Era, the speakeasies were hidden in all sorts of establishments. Our secret venue will be The Residence at the Grand Hyatt. Step back in time, with luxe velvet style, jazz music and a speakeasy vibe and join us in celebrating the opening of our SFG National Conference week.

The Lender Expo will be held over the two days of Conference at the MCG in the Harrison Room located in the heart of the Members Reserve surrounded by an array of memorabilia from the Melbourne Cricket Club’s history.
The prestige and tradition of the MCC Members Dining Room, saturated in the grandeur of the MCC, will be our conference space for day one and two of the SFG National Conference. We have a sensational line up of nationally recognised guest speakers and will hear from our most successful peers empowering you to improve and grow your business model.
The Long Room, which is undoubtedly the most famous room and the heart and soul of the MCG, will host our drinks and grazing event after day one, soaking up the views and tradition of this iconic room.
We will be closing the SFG National Conference in spectacular fashion celebrating the successes of our Members and Lenders with our National Awards Gala Ball. Held in a setting unmatched in history, grandeur and ambience we conclude our masquerade event in the most lavish and grand style. An abundance of drinks and an array of sumptuous feasting choices will be served throughout the evening. Enliven your senses with surprises to delight you and music and dancing as the final crescendo.

Founder and Director of EQ MINDS, Chelsea Pottenger is a psychology postgraduate, accredited Mindfulness & Meditation coach, Mental Health Ambassador for The Gidget Foundation Australia and a woman on a mission.
Chelsea is on a mission to reset the corporate agenda, asking businesses to prioritise their employee’s mental health first.
This mission is grounded and inspired by her own experience. Chelsea experienced severe Post Natal Depression (PND) following the birth of her daughter six years ago. Craig McRae is the Senior Coach of the Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).
McRae played at the highest level for 10 years and following his retirement worked as a secondary school teacher before focussing on a career as a coach in the AFL. He coached in development and assistant roles for 15 years before being appointed Senior Coach of Collingwood ahead of the 2022 season.
His unique style of coaching based on connection, care and genuine love for one another has seen Australia’s biggest sporting club turn its fortunes around in the space of 12 months, going from a second-last, 17th-placed side in 2021 to completing the 2022 season in third place on the ladder – missing out on the Grand Final by the narrowest of margins. McRae’s fresh energy and game plan made the Magpies exciting to watch for all football fans across Australia and his authenticity, calmness and upbeat approach to coaching instilled a strong belief in his playing group.
