To kick our event off join us for Welcome drinks and canapes on Main Beach with live music.

 The Lender Expo will be held over the two expansive levels of the Daintree Exhibition Space with Day One of the SFG National Conference to be held in The Glade nestled in the lush gardens of the Sheraton Resort with a sensational line up of guest speakers.

After the day’s proceedings a sumptuous Tropical BBQ Dinner will be served at the Lagoon House and Gazebo by the sparkling waters of the main pool.

 Day Two of the SFG National Conference will again be held in The Glade where we will continue to inspire with more guest speakers and hearing from our most successful peers.

 We will be closing the SFG National Conference in spectacular fashion with our National Awards presentation held on the rolling green of the Four Mile Lawn. Drinks and delicious offerings will be served throughout the evening topped off with live music and dancing under the stars.

Anthony Laye 

Anthony Laye is a mentalist, Master of Ceremonies, keynote speaker. Anthony is Australia's premier Mind Reader. He is able to empower his audience with simple tactics to be more effective at listening, observing, communicating, and building influence at work or home.


William Lockett

William Lockett is the Sole Director and Managing Director of Specialist Finance Group.  

With over 36 years in the finance and mortgage broking industry, Will is a highly driven business leader with a strong focus on communication, engagement, time management and a consistent aim to ensuring continuous improvement of SFG’s Aggregation Services.  

Will leads SFG with integrity and a relationship-based approach to doing business, with trust and communication at the forefront of all its dealings with both its SFG Members and SFG Business Partners. This has resulted in SFG now being recognised as one of the fastest growing aggregators in Australia. 

Will continues to work on several industry-related committees including the MFAA Aggregators Forum and he has been recognised on the MPA Global 100 Mortgage List in both 2020 and 2022.  

Will is also a Business Mentor to many and he is recognised by his peers as being a strong advocate for the Third Party Channel.


Blake Buchanan

Blake Buchanan joined the SFG executive team in 2018 and has been involved in the finance industry for some 20 plus years.

Blake has covered many areas of the third party channel including broking, banking, product distribution and is regarded as an expert in aggregation and finance distribution.

Blake has excelled in the aggregation community and has become well known for his high industry standards, unique broker insights, and business strategies that has seen him become a highly respected business builder of the industry.

Blake established SFG's Sydney office and has overseen the company's significant strategic national growth in recent years.



Craig Lowndes

Craig Lowndes is a highly successful supercar driver with a record-breaking 106 championship wins and five Barry Sheene Medals. He gained recognition in his first year as a last-minute replacement at Bathurst and went on to win the Supercars title in 1996 followed by back-to-back wins in 1998 and 1999 with the Holden Racing Team.

He later switched to Ford Performance Racing and Triple Eight where he won several Bathurst titles. In 2015, he became the first Australian driver to win 100 Championship races at the sport's elite level. 

Craig Lowndes is also a recipient of the Medal of the Order of Australia for his service to motor racing and the community, particularly in promoting road safety. 

He is a public and keynote speaker, and also a part of the commentary team for the 2019 Supercars season on Fox Sports.

Bernard Salt

Bernard Salt is widely regarded as one of Australia’s leading social commentators by business, the media and the broader community. Bernard heads The Demographics Group which provides advice on demographic, consumer and social trends for business. Prior to that Bernard founded KPMG Demographics.

He writes two weekly columns for The Australian newspaper and was an adjunct professor at Curtin University Business School between 2010 and 2020.In conjunction with KPMG Australia he hosted a top-rated podcast called “What Happens Next” which discussed rising trends and important business issues.Bernard is one of the most in-demand speakers on the Australian corporate speaking circuit. 

He is well known to the wider community for his penchant for identifying and tagging new tribes and social behaviours such as the ‘Seachange Shift’, the ‘Man Drought’, ‘PUMCINS’ (pronounced pumkins) and the ‘Goats Cheese Curtain’.  

He is perhaps best known for popularising the phrase “smashed avocado” globally.  Bernard was awarded the Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the 2017 Australia Day honours.

Dalibor Ivkovic

Dalibor joined the mortgage broking industry in 2012 and since then has founded Salestrekker, Xsource and Loanq.  As a CEO at Salestrekker, Dalibor is responsible for leading the team that is delivering Salestrekker to brokers throughout Australia and New Zealand.

In his Head of Product role at Salestrekker, Dalibor works with brokers, aggregators and developers in crafting features and improvements that are resulting in Salestrekker/SFGConnect 2.0.

Justin Jones

His expeditions have taken him to the very corners of the world. From the depths of blizzards in Antarctica, to the terror of 10 metre waves towering above - in a storm at sea and the suffocating heat in the heart of the Outback. He currently holds two Guinness World Records and a place as one of Australia's 50 Greatest Explorers of all time.

Over the past 18 years he has made a career of undertaking huge, epic, record setting expeditions around the world and sharing these on the stage and the screen.

Jonesy is a passionate story teller. 

A humble, charismatic and inspiring character…he is the perfect example of how determination, detailed planning and foresight can enable the most 'normal' of us to undertake the most extraordinary feats.

Julia Banks

An established thought leader – Julia Banks’ broad experience spans across the public and private sectors, her term in federal politics and her consulting business. Julia’s expertise and advocacy focus on leadership, safe, respectful and positive workplace cultures, governance and risk and issues management. 

Julia Banks has served in the Australian Federal Parliament as both a government and Independent MP, and has held General Counsel, Executive Director, Company Secretary and Board member roles in global blue-chip companies, as well as several non-executive director and advisory roles in Australian organisations.

Julia's bestselling book ‘Power Play, Breaking through bias barriers and boys’ clubs’  - part memoir’ meets resource guide for those aspiring to leadership positions - received excellent reviews and was nominated in the 2022 Australian Book Industry Awards.    

Bastien Treptel

Ex hacker, Founder of CTRL Group, Futurist and Entrepreneur, Bastien is dedicated to inspiring everyone to appreciate security as it becomes an essential part of our lives as we move into a hyper digitized world. 

Being paid by the largest organisations in the world to breach systems and people he has a unique insight into the access achievable and the corporate and personal damage that can be enacted. 

Bastien has developed a progressive security methodology to enable clients to achieve a respectable level of Cyber maturity, effectively helping them mitigate critical risks posed to their stakeholders and shareholders.


Lucy Bloom

Lucy is an award-winning leader and speaker. She’s a change-maker, exceptional communicator, and business fixer with the best mohawk in the business.

Lucy led an advertising agency for 20 years before she became the CEO of a brand-new women’s health organisation, funding a network of hospitals and a midwifery school in Ethiopia. She then went on to transform a Cambodian children’s charity as its first CEO.

Ross Wallman

Ross has been in media for over 15 years.

He is currently the morning announcer on Nova93.7, and regularly appears on TV in various roles. He is an ambassador for Muscular Dystrophy WA, Toyota and works for several charities.

He loves people and genuinely cares about the work he does.
