What is ‘accompanying partner share’?

Accompanying partner share refers to sharing a room with a spouse. This could be a spouse who also works in the business (and who purchased a conference ticket), or a spouse registered as an accompanying partner (not conferencing).

When should I book my flights?

To snag the best deals, we recommend booking flights as soon as possible.

I’m a Perth delegate, what are the flight options?

Given the flight costs from Perth, we’ve secured some group flights as an option for you to select at the time of registration if you’d prefer.

I have Sydney staff members who would like to attend the conference, what are my options?

This year, we’ve created flexibility with a specially designed ‘NSW Staff Pass’ ticket that only includes conference sessions. Please refer to the pricing page for a breakdown of ticket inclusions.

Why don’t other states get to book the no-accommodation and staff pass tickets?

If you have any questions about booking these special tickets, please contact the Events team at events@mortgagechoice.com.au.

What is the closing date for registrations?

Registrations close on 30 June 2025.

How do I know if I can attend the Leaders' Circle or Peloton program events?

Participants in these development programs are hand-picked based on their performance and potential. The events for these programs are by invitation only. If you are eligible to attend, you will be notified via email closer to the event.

Who can attend the Aspire program event?

Aspire is focused on inspiring, supporting and celebrating women in the network. If you, or one of your team, would benefit from attending this event, you are welcome to register for this event. We will be sending out invites for this event via email closer to National Conference.

How do I know if I'm classified as a New Broker?

New brokers are franchise owners or loan writers in their first two years in the Mortgage Choice business. If you fall into this category, you will be notified via email.

Can I bring extra franchise staff or an accompanying partner to the evening functions?

Only guests who have purchased tickets to the evening functions can attend (see the pricing page for information on event prices for accompanying partners).

Can I extend my stay at the Hyatt Regency Sydney before/after the conference?

Yes, you can extend your hotel booking. All accommodation extensions are at your own expense and subject to availability. When registering, you will have the opportunity to note any extension requirements and a team member from our events agency TRIBE will be in touch to arrange this for you. You are also welcome to make your own extension arrangements independently.

What is the conference dress code?

We encourage you to be comfortable for the conference; however, please see suggested dress codes for different elements of the event below:

- Day conference: Business casual
- Welcome function: Smart casual
- Fancy Dress night: Greatest Show On Earth
- Gala Awards dinner: Dress to impress

How do I pay for my conference tickets?

A $200 (ex GST) non-refundable deposit per person will be taken by credit card at the time of registration. Your conference ticket balance, including any optional extras booked at registration, will then be deducted from your commission payments across nine months (June to February 2026).

If I register but am then unable to attend the conference, what is the cancellation policy?

As you can appreciate, an incredible amount of planning goes into organising our National Conference and having accurate numbers is imperative so we can confirm our bookings with vendors and avoid cancellation costs. As such:

  • The $200 (ex GST) deposit taken at the time of booking is non-refundable.
  • Cancellations from 1–31 May (inclusive) will be charged 50% of the base ticket cost:
    • $837.50 ex GST for conference ticket
    • $500 ex GST for conference ticket (excluding accommodation)
    • $102.50 ex GST for conference pass only
    • $237.50 ex GST for accompanying partner ticket.

Cancellations after 1 June will be charged the full cost of the ticket, including any optional extras booked.

Any flights and accommodation booked by You outside of the registration site (with TRIBE or independently) will be subject to the relevant supplier cancellation policies.

Are transfers provided to and from the airport?

No, Hyatt Regency Sydney is conveniently located in the Sydney CBD, approximately 8km from the Sydney (Kingsford Smith) Airport via taxi, Uber, car or train.

What is the weather like in Sydney in August?

Sydney begins to warm up in late August with mild conditions. Average temperatures range from 10º to 20º.

How will you manage dietary requirements?

Please record any dietary requirements when prompted during the registration process. We can cater for any dietary requirements as long as we have this information before the conference.
